Can I direct my sponsorship to a specific cause area or geography?
Yes. When you submit your sponsorship, you can indicate a preferred cause area — beach cleanup, clean water, education, or period poverty — and any geographic preference. Mayekoo will match your gift to a vetted project that fits your priorities. If no suitable project is immediately available in your preferred area, we will discuss options with you before funds are committed.
How long does it take to see results?
Most projects are completed and documented within 12 months of funding. Some projects — particularly infrastructure work like drilled wells or classroom renovations — may take longer depending on partner capacity and site conditions. You will receive updates throughout the process, not just at completion.
Can I visit a sponsored project in the field?
Field visits are available for Flagship Partners as part of that tier's benefits. For Project Sponsors and individual major donors interested in a site visit, contact us directly at hello@mayekoo.com to discuss what is possible based on current project locations and partner access.
What exactly does the proof package include at project completion?
Every completed project comes back with GPS coordinates of the project site, before-and-after field photography, impact data including beneficiary numbers and project specifications, and a written project completion report designed to be shareable without additional formatting or editing.
