“We created Mayekoo on the belief that supporting community-led projects across Africa should feel direct, transparent, and real.”

We exist to help make poverty less permanent

Mayekoo is a U.S. nonprofit that helps fund and deliver social-impact projects across Africa by working with vetted local partners in the communities they serve. From classrooms and clean water to healthcare and cleaner communities, we turn generosity into tangible progress people can see, feel, and build on.

Beach Cleanups

Waste continues to wash onto beaches across Africa and back into the ocean. Mayekoo is helping restore polluted coastlines through mechanized cleanups and community action.

Education

Across Africa, too many children still learn in classrooms unfit for learning or under trees. Mayekoo is helping communities improve classrooms, water, sanitation, and reading support.

Clean Water

Too many communities across Africa still live without access to safe water. Mayekoo is helping change that through drilled wells and trusted local water projects.

Period Poverty

Too many girls across Africa still face barriers to school because sanitary pads remain too expensive or hard to access. Mayekoo is helping local partners expand sustainable pad supply and local production.
