YOUR GIFT FUNDS
Cleaner coastlines
Mayekoo deploys mechanized beach cleanup operations and builds permanent coastal infrastructure — trash booms, sorting bays, public facilities — across Africa's most polluted beaches. We've removed over 3,000 tons of trash from Labadi Beach in Accra alone. This is a continental problem and we are building a continental response.
Safer water access
Mayekoo has helped bring safe water to over 740 people through two completed well projects in Ghana. A single drilled well costs $7,500–$8,000 and serves up to 500 people. We are working to fund and deliver more.
Better learning environments
Mayekoo has completed education projects across Ghana and Kenya — classroom reconstruction, roof repairs, water access, and student welfare support. We believe children deserve school environments built for them, not around them.
Dignity for girls and women
Mayekoo has supported over 600 girls across five schools in Ghana with menstrual health products, reusable pad initiatives, and dignity-centered education. Period poverty is a solvable problem. We are helping solve it.

ABOUT MAYEKOO
We don't just fund beach cleanups. We help deliver them.
Mayekoo is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity that works directly with vetted local partners to fund and help execute social impact projects across Africa.
On beach cleanup, that means we don't write a check and walk away. We coordinate equipment deployment. We manage haul-off logistics. We work with contractors, local organizations, and community volunteers to make sure the operation actually happens, waste actually leaves, and the results are documented and shared.
Every project Mayekoo funds and helps deliver is reported back with GPS coordinates and photos from the field — so you always know where your support went and what it did.

Being a Founding Member means being part of Mayekoo's story from the beginning.
Do I have to givemonthly?
No. You can make a one-time gift and it is genuinely appreciated. But monthly giving is what allows Mayekoo to plan at a different level — funding projects without waiting for individual fundraising cycles to close. If you can give monthly, even at $5 or $10, that sustained commitment has more operational value than a larger one-time gift.
Is my gifttax-deductible?
Yes. Mayekoo is a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.
Can I direct my supportto a specific cause?
Yes. If you prefer to support a specific cause — beach cleanup, clean water, education, or period poverty — you can give directly through that cause page. The Founding Member program supports Mayekoo's work across all four areas, which is the most flexible and impactful way to give at this stage of our growth.
