About this project

On 28 March 2025, Mayekoo partnered with Cenpower Generation Company Limited to carry out the Sega Beach Cleanup in Kpone, Greater Accra Region. Over five days, the project combined mechanized beach-cleaning operations with volunteer participation to remove more than 600 metric tons of accumulated waste from the coastline. More than 120 volunteers participated alongside heavy equipment, helping restore the beach while promoting greater awareness of responsible waste management and the importance of protecting Ghana’s coastal environment.
