Fund the Next Clean Water Project in Africa

The next project should not begin with a photograph and a fundraising target. It should begin with a verified need.

Mayekoo has already helped deliver drilled-well systems in Ghana. This campaign is raising the funds that will allow the next clean-water project to move from identification to execution once the site and scope are confirmed.

That means doing the work in the right order: assess the water problem, understand who the system will serve, verify the local partner and site, confirm the technical approach, build a realistic budget, and then coordinate delivery.

Donors are not being asked to give to an anonymous promise of “water somewhere in Africa.” They are helping create the funding capacity to move a vetted project when the right site is ready.

As the location is finalized, the fundraiser should be updated with the school or community, project specifications, timeline and field proof so the story becomes more specific—not less.

Reliable water changes daily routines.

At a school, it can reduce time spent searching for water and improve hygiene. In a community, it can bring a basic need closer to daily life. The infrastructure also creates value only when it is built for the actual site and remains usable after installation.

Schools and communities can live with unreliable or unsafe water for years because a water project requires more than drilling.

The site has to be assessed, local conditions understood, equipment specified, partners coordinated, funds mobilized, construction supervised and the finished system documented and maintained.

Support may cover local assessment and technical planning, hydrogeological or site work where required, drilling or borehole construction, pumps, storage, piping, taps, WASH-related components, field coordination, testing, documentation and donor reporting.

Once the project site is formally selected, Mayekoo should update this campaign with the confirmed location, beneficiary context and project scope before major implementation begins.
