Clean Water, Healthier Communities

Founded in 2019, KulamuSana Association is a youth-led, non-profit community organization based in Beira, Sofala Province, Mozambique. We work to reduce poverty, prevent endemic diseases, empower girls and young people, and support vulnerable families and orphaned children. Through community-based initiatives and collaboration with local institutions, we strive to improve living conditions and promote self-reliance. We are committed to supporting vulnerable communities in accessing essential services, including clean and safe water.

Improving access to clean water can protect health, support children’s well-being, and give families more time to care for their households, pursue education, and engage in productive activities.

Many vulnerable communities in Sofala Province, Mozambique, face challenges accessing clean and safe drinking water. This can expose families, especially children, to waterborne diseases and force them to spend time and energy collecting water from unsafe sources. Low-income households often lack the resources to access reliable water supplies. Through this campaign, KulamuSana Association aims to help address this challenge and contribute to healthier, safer communities.
