Well Drilling Update

Happy to share that thanks to your generous contributions and the additional support from Mayekoo, we have raised funds that have kickstarted the drilling of the water well for the schoolchildren at Tenashie Primary in Accra, Ghana.

As of May 4, 2024, our dedicated team successfully drilled to a depth of 100 meters (328 feet), reaching the desired water table. This crucial work, completed in just about 3.5 hours, involved installing 8-inch PVC pipes to safeguard the well structure and ensure its longevity.

Looking ahead, we are scheduled for another significant step on May 11th, 2024. The team will return to conduct thorough testing of the water and new system, trench and install pipes, and connect power. Once we confirm that the water levels are satisfactory, we will officially commission the well.
