Support Fafali to Represent Ghana at the Street Child World Cup 2026
Based in Greater Accra and the Volta Region of Ghana, the Fafali Organization is a nonprofit social impact organization empowering marginalized children between ages 5 and 18 through education, gender equality, sports, entrepreneurship, and environmental stewardship.
Operating in both urban and rural communities, we use sports as a powerful entry point to connect underserved youth to academic opportunities, life skills training, and character development. Our Saturday Girls Soccer Project is one of our flagship programs, providing mentorship and motivation through team-based learning.
Now, these same girls are preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to represent Ghana and all of West Africa at the 5th Street Child World Cup in Mexico City in May 2026—a global tournament and advocacy platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of street-connected children worldwide.
We’re raising $15,000 to help our girls reach Mexico and advocate for thousands of vulnerable children across Ghana.
The Challenges
Fafali is currently facing a critical funding challenge as we prepare to send our Saturday Girls Soccer Project team to represent Ghana and West Africa at the 5th Street Child World Cup in Mexico City in May 2026. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our girls—many of whom come from marginalized backgrounds—and a major milestone for our organization. More importantly, it offers a powerful global platform to raise awareness about the plight of street-connected children in Ghana, including those affected by trafficking, child labor, and neglect.
The Street Child World Cup is not just a tournament; it is a space for advocacy, cultural exchange, and empowerment. Participation will allow our girls to speak up for thousands of other vulnerable children, while gaining international exposure, confidence, and lifelong memories.
Funds raised will be used to cover travel expenses, team kits, training and preparation, visas, and advocacy materials. The support will also contribute to educational workshops and cultural preparation activities that ensure our girls represent Ghana with pride and purpose.
For Fafali, this initiative aligns directly with our mission to empower underserved youth through education, sports, and character development. Your support will help make their dreams a reality—while amplifying our collective voice for street-connected children across the globe.
Why it matters
Funds raised will help cover travel, visas, team kits, training, and advocacy materials for our girls representing Ghana at the Street Child World Cup 2026 in Mexico. The support will also provide educational and cultural preparation to ensure they are confident and ready to advocate for street-connected children on a global stage. Beyond the event, your contribution empowers girls through mentorship, physical activity, and international exposure—advancing Fafali’s mission to use sports as a tool for education, advocacy, and long-term social change. Every donation brings us one step closer to changing lives.
