The foundation’s first campaign focuses on supporting MaCare Shelter, a female-led shelter in Natriku, Akuse, which cares for vulnerable children in urgent need of these basic necessities.

In the medium term, solar-powered streetlights will be installed, improving safety at night, enabling safe spaces for study and play, and reducing reliance on unreliable electricity sources.

Looking to the long term, Beacon Heart Foundation will provide ongoing education on hygiene, resource management, and sustainable farming practices. This ensures that the shelter and its residents are equipped not only to survive but to thrive, reducing the prevalence of disease, improving overall health, and establishing a resilient foundation for the future.

The total fundraising target of USD 85,000 will allow the foundation to implement this comprehensive plan and make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and women at MaCare Shelter.
