Help Smile for Africa Feed, Educate & Heal Vulnerable Children in Uganda

We work to restore hope and dignity by supporting our community across four key pillars: physical, socio-emotional, economic, and spiritual development.

Through the Smile Africa Skills Project, we equip children with hands-on livelihood skills such as making bags, bangles, and necklaces. We also provide school fee support, health education, and emotional counseling. For the elderly, we offer medical assistance, encouragement, and spiritual care, reminding them they are valued and not forgotten.

The Challenges

We are currently caring for over 70 vulnerable children a number that continues to grow. Despite our dedication, we are struggling to meet their most basic needs.

Daily feeding, access to healthcare, school fees, and emotional support are becoming increasingly difficult to provide. The children depend on us for survival, but our resources are stretched thin.

Our community also includes elderly individuals who suffer from chronic conditions, lack of food, and social isolation. Without funding, we risk falling short of the care and love they desperately need.

• Feed children daily and reduce the risk of malnutrition.

• Pay school fees and supply educational materials to keep children learning and in class.

The Solution

With your help, Smile for Africa Children’s Ministry will use the $5,000 raised to:

• Provide Daily Meals: Ensure consistent, nutritious food for over 70 children who currently face hunger and undernourishment.

• Fund School Fees & Supplies: Help children access quality education by covering tuition, uniforms, books, and basic learning materials.

• Deliver Medical Care: Support healthcare needs for children and the elderly, including treatment, medication, and regular checkups—especially for those living with HIV.

• Support Counseling & Emotional Healing: Provide trauma-informed care and mentorship to children and families navigating poverty, loss, and neglect.

• Care for the Elderly: Offer food, medical aid, and spiritual support to elderly individuals facing abandonment and hardship.
