Help God's Love To The Nations Rebuild Sapeliga’s Kindergarten in Ghana
God’s Love To The Nations (GLTTN) is a registered Christian ministry and charity based in Accra, Ghana. We are dedicated to sharing the gospel of Christ and transforming lives through acts of service—offering food aid, scholarships, school construction, clean water, and basic healthcare to vulnerable communities across Ghana.
In the rural community of Sapeliga, education is on the brink of collapse. Children are currently attending kindergarten in a crumbling 1930s building destroyed by storms, with many forced to sit on bare floors and learn without books, uniforms, or shoes. These are not just challenges—they are roadblocks to hope.
This campaign aims to raise $30,000 to rebuild the Sapeliga Community Kindergarten School, providing a safe, nurturing space where children can learn, grow, and dream again.
The Challenges
The learning environment in Sapeliga is unsafe and undignified. Following a destructive windstorm, the only remaining structure used for kindergarten learning is nearly a century old and dangerously unstable. The original kindergarten block was completely destroyed, leaving children to study in overcrowded, makeshift classrooms with no desks, no chairs, and no proper learning tools.
This is not just a structural problem—it’s a human one. Children sit on hard floors. Many show up barefoot and without uniforms. They lack even the most basic supplies. The emotional and academic toll is severe.
Without urgent support, these children remain at risk—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Their educational future is crumbling alongside the classroom walls meant to protect them.
Why It Matters
Education is more than a classroom—it’s a lifeline.
In communities like Sapeliga, where poverty is widespread and opportunity scarce, early education provides one of the only paths toward lasting change. But when schools fall into disrepair, so too do the hopes of the children who rely on them.
By rebuilding the kindergarten block and equipping it with desks, chairs, books, and teaching materials, we will restore more than a structure—we’ll restore dignity. With access to uniforms and shoes, children will arrive to school with pride, eager to learn and belong.
This initiative goes beyond bricks and mortar. It’s about lifting a generation of rural Ghanaian children into a future where they can learn safely, grow spiritually, and dream freely.
Solution
With your help, GLTTN will use the $30,000 raised to:
-
Rebuild the Kindergarten Block: Construct a safe, well-ventilated, child-friendly learning space to replace the dangerously deteriorated structure.
-
Furnish Classrooms: Purchase desks, chairs, and tables to ensure every child has a seat to learn.
-
Provide Learning Materials: Equip classrooms with essential books, stationery, and KG-level teaching tools to boost early literacy and numeracy.
-
Support Vulnerable Children: Supply school uniforms and shoes for students in need, improving attendance and self-esteem.
-
Embed Values-Based Learning: Establish Bible clubs and character-building programs that nurture both academic and spiritual growth.
This is just the beginning. Long-term, we envision expanding infrastructure, creating digital learning hubs, and enhancing teacher training. But first, we must secure the foundation—literally and figuratively.
Thank you for choosing to invest in the future of Sapeliga’s children. Your gift is more than a donation—it’s a declaration of hope. Together, we’re not just building a school. We’re building a generation.
