We believe that Africa’s greatest asset is its youth—who make up over 60% of the populationand we work to unlock their potential as changemakers through leadership development, community initiatives, and project-based learning.
Our programs offer mentorship, hands-on project execution, and direct engagement with real-world challenges to prepare young people for civic leadership and entrepreneurship. From university campuses to rural communities, Reformation Community is shaping the next generation of African innovators.
The Challenges
Despite the growing demand and success of our initiatives, we face critical operational hurdles:
-
Staff Retention: Our dedicated contract staff, who manage projects and mentor youth, are not yet full-time. This limits continuity and long-term planning.
-
Operational Stability: As a growing organization, we lack sufficient core funding to stabilize daily operations and scale effectively across regions.
-
Program Sustainability: Without consistent human resource capacity, our ability to expand university chapters and run high-impact youth programs is compromised.
These challenges threaten the consistency and quality of our work especially at a time when demand for youth-focused programming is rising across the continent.
Why It Matters
Investing in Reformation Community is investing in Africa’s future leaders.
With your support, we can:
-
Transition key staff from part-time contracts to full-time positions, ensuring stability, motivation, and stronger delivery.
-
Strengthen the organizational backbone required to expand university chapters across Ghana and beyond.
-
