    The Environmental and Social Sustainability Foundation (ESSF) is a grassroots organization based in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to fostering sustainable development while protecting the environment. Founded in 2009 and registered in 2017, ESSF works tirelessly with local communities, government agencies, and other organizations to achieve its mission. To achieve sustainable development without compromising the welfare of 'Mother Earth' by focusing on community development, technology for impact, capacity building, gender equality, public awareness, conservation practices, and health activities.

    The Challenges

    The Amboseli Ecosystem is facing critical challenges that threaten its wildlife, communities, and environment. The interconnected nature of these issues requires a comprehensive approach that considers the well-being of all ecosystem components.

    • Human-Wildlife Conflict: Increasing competition for resources and habitat degradation are leading to conflicts between humans and wildlife.
    • Emerging Infectious Diseases: Close proximity between humans and wildlife increases the risk of diseases spreading between species.
    • Environmental Degradation: Climate change, unsustainable land-use practices, and water scarcity are impacting biodiversity and resource availability.
    • Limited Access to Healthcare: Nomadic communities face significant challenges in accessing healthcare due to the limited number of health facilities and services.

    Supporting this campaign means directly contributing to the health and sustainability of the Amboseli Ecosystem. The funds raised will be used to cover essential costs for the medical camp, including:

    • Lab items and medical equipment lease
    • Vaccines and medicines
