Now, we’re launching our most ambitious project yet: We are raising $5,000 to kick off the STEAM for the Future workshops across five regions in Ghana and launch a digital platform connecting youth to STEAM careers, mentors, and resources.

The Challenges

The world is evolving—but many of our youth are being left behind. Imagine if Ghanaian youth had the skills to:

But for too many students, STEAM education ends with theory—not practice. Schools often lack the tools, mentorship, or career support to turn classroom lessons into real-world problem-solving.

The Solution

Handz-On Africa will implement the STEAM for the Future program in two parts:

1. Regional STEAM Workshops (Starting in 5 Regions)

• Project-based learning sessions for hundreds of students

• Hands-on activities in robotics, AI, sustainable energy, biomedical tech, and more

• Hackathons and innovation labs to solve real community problems

• Career talks and mentorship sessions with Ghanaian STEAM professionals

2. STEAM Career Coaching & Networking Platform

• An online platform connecting youth to:

  • Industry mentors

  • Scholarship and internship opportunities

  • Peer-to-peer learning groups

  • Curated resources to build 21st-century skills

• A digital hub showcasing youth-led innovations, creating visibility and pathways to employment or funding
