    I The Change Youth Transform Center is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering youth in Kwale County. Our focus is on rehabilitative counseling and social skills development for young people in conflict with the law. We aim to help these youth become law-abiding citizens, earn a decent livelihood, and become ambassadors of peace and security. Our work also involves building resilience against radicalization and violent extremism, fostering a safer and more inclusive community.

    Music has the power to transform lives, especially for the youth in conflict with the law. At I The Change Youth Transform Center in Ukunda, Kenya, we believe in harnessing this power to create positive change. We are raising $4,500 to fund a community music production studio in Diani, Kwale County, Kenya, to help underrepresented grassroots musicians find their voice and build their careers.

    Challenges

    Currently, we have dedicated music education volunteers providing music skills to youth in local educational institutions, prisons, and rehabilitation facilities. However, we lack the essential music equipment needed for practical teaching and music recording. Without these resources, our efforts to provide hands-on learning and real recording opportunities are limited. We need your support to purchase the necessary musical equipment and establish a production studio that can offer these vital experiences.
