In Accra, many vulnerable people and families fall through the cracks because essential services are hard to reach — or don’t reach them at all. That’s why Mayekoo is leading a Mobile Social Services Program with our vetted local implementing partner, Ahaban Green Leaf Foundation (Ahaban GLF): bringing healthcare support, food assistance, and referral pathways directly to communities in need.

What Mayekoo Is Building (with Ahaban GLF)

Mayekoo is the prime charity and delivery lead. We’re raising the funds, setting the program plan, coordinating delivery with on-the-ground partners, and publishing straightforward reporting so donors can see what moved.

Our implementing partner, Ahaban Green Leaf Foundation (Ahaban GLF), is a Ghana-based humanitarian organization already running mobile social services that reach people and communities who are often missed by traditional systems.

This isn’t a one-time handout. It’s a mobile, repeatable service model that meets people where they are — and helps stabilize the basics that make it possible to rebuild.

What Your Support Funds

Your donation helps Mayekoo and Ahaban GLF deliver mobile services that can include:

• Healthcare screenings + referrals (basic checks, early detection, and support to access care)
• Food aid + hot meal distributions
• Hygiene and basic essentials support (when needed to prevent illness and restore dignity)
• Youth mentorship and pathways support (helping street-connected youth move toward safer, more stable options)
• NHIS enrollment support where appropriate (helping vulnerable individuals register and maintain coverage)

Why This Approach Works

Homelessness isn’t only “lack of housing.” It’s what happens when social services are limited — and the distance between people and help becomes impossible to cross.
