The Challenge

Despite the significant strides made by BuzstopBoys, the organization faces financial and logistical challenges that limit its impact. Ghana generates over 12,700 tonnes of solid waste daily, but only 10% is properly disposed of. Without access to advanced cleaning tools and resources, BuzstopBoys relies heavily on manual labor, which restricts the scale and efficiency of its operations.

Funding is urgently needed to purchase essential cleaning equipment, such as waste-collection vehicles, protective gear, and shovels. These tools will enable BuzstopBoys to clean larger areas, conduct more frequent campaigns, and extend its reach to communities in greater need. Beyond the physical clean-ups, the organization is working to address environmental issues at their root, transforming public mindsets and promoting sustainable practices.
